Market commentary

Described as an early 4.9 Spyder built to Euro specs, this car was sold at Artcurial's Retromobile auction in Paris two years ago for $993,278 (Euros 749,520 which is $848,900 at today's exchange rate.) Even the Euro's swoon wasn't enough to get it above water in the States, but its present value isn't going to get it into seven figures, or even close. The high bid here is more than appropriate to the car.
