Equipment
RHD. Built by Lola with special lightweight tub for Penske Donohue but proved to be a flexible flier that broke half shafts and crashed in its only Can Am. Stored many years by a contemporary racer who kept it as a spare, then restored it over a 15 year period with a new, stronger, tub, 510 cubic inch V8, Lucas Kinsler fuel injection, Hewland LG600 gearbox, upgraded wheels and Wilwood disc brakes. Looks good, but it dusty under the skin. Used only for shakedown laps at Lime Rock. Comes with its origil Penske fitted car cover in Sunoco Blue. Should be ready to race after a safety check.
Market commentary
This is a real car with real history, unbroken provence and breathtaking performance that was bought for a very reasoble price. It will be an appreciated entrant in historic Can Am events.
