Equipment
428 335hp, automatic, Ram Air, P S, P B, A C, rally style wheels with hubcaps and trim rings, Rim Blow steering wheel, AM FM, Polyglas tires. Restored like new. The factory built prototype for the Fairlane Talladega, unique in many respects. An important artifact of Fords NASCAR history.
Market commentary
This is a showpiece although its significance isnt apparent at first glance. That hampers its appeal in the market: when you have to explain why your Talladega is different from all the other Talladegas it diminishes its appeal as a collection headline. It brought more than double the price of a production Talladega, however, and that is arguably enough to account for its uniqueness.
