Equipment
302/250hp, automatic, Shelby wheels, Cooper Cobra tires, factory air conditioning, power steering, front disc brakes, tilt steering column, pushbutton radio, Marti Report.
Condition
#3 Good
Runs and drives well. Flaws not noticeable to passersby. Most common condition.
Paint is well past its prime with light detailing scratches all over. Chrome is pretty good. Fender lips don't quote fit straight. Very clean engine bay with some older-looking hoses and wires. Good interior with some scratches around the back seats from hauling a full load back there. Fully restored and a car to have fun with, but its best days are behind it and it wouldn't be the jewel of anybody's collection.
Market commentary
If this were a fresh car, refusing the reported high bid might have been reasonable, but for a used restoration like this the money offered was generous and should have been taken.
