Equipment
Borrani wire wheels, Pirelli tires, triple Webers, Ansa exhaust, Voxson 8-track AM/FM radio, air conditioning, power steering, power windows, woodrim steering wheel.
Condition
Good paint other than two large chips in the driver's door touched up with non-matching paint, along with some bubbling in the fender at the driver's door edge. Left front bumper has notable scratches, and all have polishing swirl. Grille is oxidized and all trim shows scratches and age. Wheels need cleaning and polish. Driver's seat shows slight creasing. Steering wheel is cracked and worn. Window switches are oxidized. Rear vent window latches are pitted. Underhood needs some light detailing and the center carburetor has a fuel seep from its accelerator pump. Underbody was undercoated. Italian market car that made its way to the U.S. in 1979. Includes service history going back to the 1980s, and the gearbox and clutch were replaced in 2009. It was also painted at some point in red instead of the original Grigio Ortello. Never fully restored, but got major attention when necessary and now a pretty and presentable driver quality car with room for the family.
Market commentary
A quarter-million dollars for a Queen Mother, and the new owner is probably ecstatic at buying a front engine, V12 Ferrari for this price. Spending a few thousand more to repaint it in its original Grigio would be a good idea.
