Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Alloy wheels, A C, Becker AM FM, P W, 5 speed. An excellent cosmetic restoration to very high standards of fit and finish and nearly like new although there is filler around the rear wheel wells and spot filler elsewhere. Platinum award at FCA 2003 National Meet. Nose covered with chip guard plastic. Clean and well presented underhood. New black paint over old undercoat on chassis. A 4 time Copper State participant. No Reserve.

Market commentary

An old friend, reported sold by B J at the Petersen in 2002 for $75,600 and a no sale at a reported bid of $80,000 at Kruse Scottsdale in January 2003. One of the best Queen Mothers in the world, if not the best of all. The values of Queen Mothers have been growing faster than even most Ferraris recently and this transaction will set yet another benchmark.
