Market commentary
Sold at Mecum Monterey in 2015 for $1,017,500, then hammered not sold at Mecum Monterey the next year at a $700,000 high bid and hammered not sold once more in Kissimmee earlier this year at a $725,000 high bid. The seven-figure Toyota was a short-lived trend in 2015 after this example and a few others broke the million-dollar mark. After supply caught up to demand, prices settled in the high six figures. The seller's expectations caught up with the times in Indy and he let it go at a realistic price.
