Equipment
Alloy wheels, 5 speed, Blaupunkt multi band radio, P W. Poor, tired old repaint, scuffed and cracked. Sound original interior. Dull chrome. A sound but aged used car. Engine looks like it has been out and has fresh Black wrinkle paint on the cam covers and exhaust shields. Bumpers freshly rechromed, brakes overhauled and other recent work. The underhood presentation is much, much better than the rest of the car.
Market commentary
In Maranello last May when this car sold for $96,480 (Euros 71,500) it was represented at Ferrari Classiche certified. No such representation accompanies it today. Freshened up, with mechanical work that is not inexpensive, it brought only $97,500 hammer, just a grand more than it sold for on the other side of the Atlantic and even less in Euros, 69,900 at todays exchange rate to be exact. This is a hard way to make a buck, but a weak car on which to try to make one and a car thats worth no more than the buyer paid for it here.
