Equipment
Modified by NART for the 1969 Daytona 24 where it was driven by Sam Posey in his first Ferrari drive and Pedro Rodriguez (not the famous Pedro, this one was a South American rancher) to second in class. Banged around thereafter, including accident damage severe enough to bend the frame and require extensive repairs in Italy. Restored in the mid 80s to its as raced configuration without bumpers and with an outside filler but with Borranis instead of the alloy wheels it raced with at Daytona.
Market commentary
Opened at $1.2 million and arguably the most desirable of the four 275 GTB 4s at auction in Monterey, but couldnt get beyond this bid even under Robert Brooks persuasive gavel.
