Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Alloy knockoffs, P W, no radio, 6 Webers. 28,631 miles. Steel body. Good older paint but now shows some stone and door edge chips, cracked behind passengers door and a few blisters in creases. Worn original interior with some surface cracks to the seats. Good chrome. Like new underhood with authentic oil puddles in head valley. Chassis shows use. Ex Charlie Kemp and Patrick Ottis. Body vents poorly prepped, paint buffed through by trunk lid, carpets dirty.

Market commentary

If this cars description sounds familiar its because there were few changes needed from its description at Christies Tarrytown auction in April where it was unsold at a reported high bid of $300,000. The estimate has since dropped by $50,000; the real money dropped even more, to $240,000 hammer.
