Equipment
4 speed, Holman & Moody roll cage, R model vented acrylic rear window, American Racing 5 spoke wheels, R nose. Raced from new with period SCCA race history driven by first owner Yale Kneeland, 1967 SCCA N.E. Division B Production champion. Replacement engine. Paint flat, bodywork wavy, engine not rebuilt to period Shelby specs. Theres very little Shelby left here but the period race history goes a long way to making this a desirable vintage racer. No Reserve.
Market commentary
The value of cars bearing the Shelby name has its limits as this tired, heavily modified street car turned R model GT350 proves. Theres little factory or Shelby left, but it is still full value for money at this price on the basis of its history alone.
