Equipment
Outside laced silver painted Borranis. Number 8 of 12 built with extra thin aluminum coachwork. Raced by Pedro Rodriguez at Nassau in 66, by Harley Cluxton at Daytona in 70, then actively in SCCA for several years. Restored like new, with excellent cosmetics, while owned by Obrist, and still in marginally better than new condition.
Market commentary
Faster than a GTO or comp Daytona, and rarer, too. It takes a million and change to put a new owners name on this cars title. The well used race car (9057) at RM Amelia brought $1,030,000 while Christies got $1,212,500 at Pebble last year for 9007 in comparable condition.
