Equipment
327/300hp, 4-speed, centerlock alloy wheels, Goodyear narrow whitewalls, radio delete, dash clock, woodrim steering wheel.
Condition
#3 Good
Runs and drives well. Flaws not noticeable to passersby. Most common condition.
All original. A few touched up scratches and chips throughout. Cracks on the tail and the paint is starting to wear through in spots. Body is a little wavy. Engine bay has been cleaned up as much as it could be, but it looks rough in there, even though it is complete. Remarkably good original interior. Represented as mechanically sound and with 51, 498 miles. As the sign on the windshield says, it's only original once. A solid but not top notch preservation class type of car.
Market commentary
Setting a value on a survivor car isn't always straightforward, as setting a premium for preservation is fairly subjective. Considering this car's complete originality and combination of options, though, this seems like a good buy. It brought a little more than what an older restoration in comparable condition would expect to bring, but not much. Maybe if they'd left some more dust and dirt it could have brought more.
