Equipment
Hurst wheels, Firestone red line tires, added Tri-Power, power steering, power brakes, bucket seats, console, Hurst shifter, factory radio, PHS documentation.
Condition
From the Dale Reed collection. No representation of matching numbers. Tri-Power added. Fender lips don't fit completely straight. Very good paint and chrome. Uneven gaps. Very good interior that was originally blue. Clean and fully restored underneath. Looks like a solid older body-on restoration that's been lightly enjoyed and upgraded.
Market commentary
Sold at Mecum Kissimmee in 2015 for $51,840. Both results are roughly appropriate for what this car is and what it isn't, and it's a good value for someone who wants a GTO for fun rather than sheer collectability.
