Equipment
Chrome wire wheels, grille guard, wind wings, radio, dual quads, aluminum oil pan, Plexi sun visors. Good repaint, otherwise a clean, sharp, little used Cobra. Front springs have no gaiters.
Market commentary
Sold by RM in Arizona in 2006 for $385,000 and represented at the time as being 12,360 miles and original except for an old repaint and replaced interior. It now shows 12,398 miles but the attribution of actual miles has disappeared. The paint is new (and nearly flawless) and it has been carefully detailed. The hammer price is only $25,000 shy of double what the successful bid was in Phoenix sixteen months ago, a fact that should cause the seller great joy. The buyer may appropriately feel some remorse as this is a huge price for a leaf spring Cobra in this condition and with no competition history.
