Condition
Recent restoration that looks good but has detail issues. Fender gaps at doors are off, lower fender edge not aligned with body line. Paint is nicely applied and well-polished. New windshield, chrome trim is new or well-polished, bumpers have been polished at least once. Underhood is clean and well detailed but appears to have possibly had its core support changed. Undercarriage is clean. Interior only has a small paint issue on dash insert.
Market commentary
High bid was an extraordinary offer, not just for this car in this condition, but for this car period. This is a Fairlane after all, not a Mustang.
