Very good tight-fitting top. Painted over cracks on the trunk lid and a scratch on the driverÆs door, but mostly very good paint. Light wrinkling on the driverÆs seat but mostly very good paint. Clean and restored underneath. An inherently desirable Chapron DS that has been restored and maintained to handsome driver condition.

Sold by Bonhams in Paris in 2011 for $253,070 (Euros 186,300 at the time; this result is Euros 187,300.) The price here is generous, but understandable for an automobile that is stylish, unusual and will attract favorable attention even on Rodeo Drive.
