Equipment
New chrome wire wheels. Neglected, covered in dust, a forlorn object of no ones desire and offered at No Reserve. Drivers window falls out, loaded with Bondo, nose bottom dented, headlight cover screws loose. Poorly masked paint job with beaucoup orange peel. Wide, uneven door gaps. Console missing a trim panel, neglected underhood, bodged wiring. Fright Pig.
Market commentary
An object demonstration of how not to sell a car at auction. B J even had to try to sell it twice. First, its a bad car. Second, it was ignored by the seller until it came to the lineup Sunday evening and looked like trash in the tent. It was sold once at $30,000 but reappeared shortly thereafter (likely kicked by the purchaser) the last car across the block, and was announced No Sale at $23,500, requiring a compromise somewhere along the way that produced this result which is cheap, but daringly good for the car.
