Market commentary
Sold at Auburn Fall six months ago for $46,200 and flipped here at a generous price and profit. As with the BMW 507 the SP250 illustrates how British and European manufacturers struggled with the V-8 concept and execution. Neither of these promising engines delivered anywhere near their potential but the 507 at least had gorgeous coachwork, the difference between being today a million dollar car and this generous result at $67,200.
