Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Driven by Elmer George (son in law of Anton Hulman and father of Tony George). Mediocre Indy history but a 5th at Milwaukee shoed by Mel Kenyon in 65. Restored in 94 to race car show condition, some demonstrations since. In track ready condition.

Market commentary

An interesting history but more important as a well preserved example of the final evolution of Meyer & Drake Offy powered American oval track front engine roadsters. The price is enough, and the car is a gem.
