Equipment
Real Roadster. P S, P B, A C, P W, P top, swingaway wheel, chrome wire wheels. Tired original paint, interior and chrome but appears sound and complete. Drivers seat seams pulled; original top is junk. Some quick and careless underhood black spray work, some minor sill rot. Odometer shows 47,006 believable miles. A great place to start a very expensive and lengthy T bird restoration.
Market commentary
Rerun of 281 when it was a no sale at $12,100. A better basis for a restoration would be hard to find. Its all there, hasnt been messed up, has excellent options and is a real roadster. Might be worth $60K when its done (and surely will bring $50K if done comprehensively and correctly) but the $47K will disappear awful fast. Rounded 4 seat T birds are increasingly popular making this a pretty good bet for a restoration project in anticipation of appreciating prices.
