Equipment
Uses 250 GTE chassis running gear brought to 250 Le Mans specs, reportedly with NOS Ferrari parts including 10mm cams and lightweight clutch. Built in the late 60s, restored in 1990 with 2,000 miles since. Excellent aluminum replica of Fantuzzi body with long tail, trimmed fender vents, wraparound windshield and single headrest (on the left along with the steering wheel.) Ready for a street fight or Sunday touring
Market commentary
Reportedly cost the earth to build ($150,000) even in the late 1960s when it was created, terrific looking and probably a blast to drive but at the end of the day its still a replica and always will be. It might bring $150,000 from just the right prospect, but probably not in these economic times. Ferrari buyers want real, quality cars ... or they want bargains.
