Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Chrome spoke Borranis, original multi band radio, alternator, overdrive. Decent repaint, good interior and chrome, freshly serviced with new valves, guides and seals. New Michelin tires. Bad window track felts but good rubber body seals. Sills heavily filled. Clean underhood, fuse box cover missing. As GTEs go, this was a pretty good and sound one.

Market commentary

While this is a generous price in relative terms, the cars recent valve job and general feeling of togetherness justifies sufficient confidence in it to make the price reasonable. A GTE will swallow just as much money on repairs and service as a GTO, its just a bigger portion of its underlying value. Lots bigger! Bought with Euros from Germany.
