Carburetors, 5 speed, disc brakes, concealed CD stereo. Includes an unrestored factory hardtop. Freshly restored in Germany in 2002 to a high standard and in impressive condition, at least as good as new and probably much better. Owned by Ferdinand Piech, Chairman of Volkswagen.

Market commentary

By any standard this is an astounding price for a 3500GT Vignale Spider, but this is an astounding Vignale Spider. Even at historic exchange rates this is a record price. And it is impossible to dispute.
