Equipment
Cosworth Ford, Webers, Hewland Mk IV gearbox, drum brakes, Yellow wobbly wheels. Restored to near concours condition with some subsequent use but to all intents and purposes a brand new car. Very clean and well presented for an historic racer. Said to be sorted and race ready, with some tech stickers on the rollbar to back it up. No Reserve.
Market commentary
Bought at RM Amelia March 9, 2002 for $24,200, recognized as a very good value at the time but still making this one of the first clear instances where a car purchased in the US has flown the Atlantic and brought a healthy profit at least in part due to the realignment of the dollar and the pound. It is not overpriced here in pounds but is a whopping price in dollars.
