Equipment
Chrome Borranis. Steel body with alloy opening panels. Raced new by Walther Lambert until he crashed it on the road and was killed. Original engine replaced and renumbered 2443GT (numero interno 730E) still to 168 61 specs, rear axle replaced, 40DCL6 carbs fitted instead of 46s. Traded around Switzerland until bought by present owner who vintage raced it until 1989. Unused since, shows its age but also highly original
Market commentary
While this isnt a Comp 61 its as close as a customer could get. The replacement engine doesnt help its value but is forthrightly described. The pros and cons seem to be reasonably factored into the price realized which is high for an SWB but low for one mechanically so closely related to the Comp 61s.
