Equipment
Jack Brabhams 1961 Indy car, purpose built by Cooper, starting the rear engine revolution. Meticulously concours restored to 61 condition (after usual racing metamorphosis to a Chevy powered sprinter) in 91. Carefully used and demonstrated since.
Market commentary
A completely unique and seminally important race car, reportedly with 70% of its original components, beautifully restored and still capable of 140mph demonstration laps at Michigan. Indy cars dont bring much money, though, and it could have sold.
