Market commentary
Oldsmobiles bread and butter in 1960, one of 76,377 built to haul Americas families, one notch up from a Pontiac and one below a Buick in GMs aspirational ladder. Its original $2,900 price is less than $300 more than an Impala V 8, but its survival is pretty amazing. So is the generous price it brought.
