Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Chrome spoke wire wheels, multi band radio, both hard and soft tops, full tool roll and books. Restored to better than new condition with excellent paint, chrome, interior, glass. Sharp and crisp. Flat panels and even gaps. Twice displayed at Pebble Beach. Silver painted aluminum on the engine detracts from the presentation but otherwise this Series II Cab is above reproach.

Market commentary

Consignment number 6311. The top sale at Russo and Steele and thankfully (and somewhat miraculously) undamaged during the maelstrom that dropped tents and flailed cars with canvas, poles, ropes and rain. This is an extraordinary result, however, even for such a superlatively equipped, restored and maintained example.
