Equipment

Blackwall tires, Becker Mexico AM FM, fitted luggage, Solexes, transverse rear seat. Quality cosmetic restoration with excellent paint, interior, chrome and glass. Chassis repainted over old undercoat. Restored in 1994 by Dr. Philip Lufty and showing the passage of time but also very good care. A good, but far from outstanding, 190SL. Dr. Lufty also got the chassis number wrong when he redid the ID plate, leaving out a number.

Market commentary

This is an ample price for this 190SL, even in todays market which is placing a premium on this abundant model and its uninspiring performance.
