Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

Chrome spoke Borranis, switches in panel between seats, multi band radio, unrestored modified BMW 507 hardtop, bright front fender vents, carb velocity stacks and cold air box, open headlights. Once owned by Wolfgang Seidel who had the BMW hardtop fitted. Recently restored to like new condition and excellent throughout. Known history and no stories. 2.5% import duty due if sold to a US buyer.

Market commentary

Bid to $840,000 at RMs New York auction September 2002. Still in the same exemplary and fresh condition. An exceptionally well presented Ferrari just a few thousand dollars away from finding itself a new home.
