Equipment

Chrome wire wheels, automatic, pushbutton radio, P Top. An excellent, and very shiny, restoration, still fresh and crisp.

Market commentary

With the 383 under the hood, these were pretty competent automobiles even if theyre burdened with some of the most excessive fins of the Fifties and plenty of chrome. The last year for a DeSoto convertible, as well as the last for a distinctively styled line. Later DeSotos were de contented Chryslers. The meplate expired in 61.
