Ex-Steve McQueen 1/2 ton. Hydramatic, radio, heater, turn signals, wheel covers, wide whitewalls, Offenhauser intake manifold.

Condition

A truck that McQueen used and enjoyed and it shows the use and age. Decent paint, chrome, interior and wood bed floor. Dirty and aged underhood. A usable pickup.

Market commentary

Sold by Bonhams at its sale of Steve McQueen-related lots in 2006 for $128,000, then by RM at Monterey in 2008 for $88,000. Each successive owner furthers the distance to the "King of Cool," and the spiff in value he brings. A $25,000 truck with a $55,000
