Dark Green fitted luggage with Green plaid lining, radio, Euro headlights added. 920 miles since restoration. An exceptional 300SL in unusual and very attractive colors in beyond perfect condition. Gordon Apker, the seller, observed, The guys are buying the car; their ladies are buying the upholstery and the luggage.

Market commentary

Saturday Prime Time. While this is an exceptionally well done, appointed and presented 300SL Roadster, it also is a record price, confirming the $605,000 result which RM Auctions got for a similar car at Monterey in August. If this is market, its a very healthy one.
