Equipment

Front engined F2 design raced in F1 with 2 liter Coventry Climax by Cliff Allison and Graham Hill. Restored with Hewland gearbox and 2 liter Climax, raced successfully in historic events and in race ready condition. Clean and tidy. FIA and VSCC papers.

Market commentary

Weird and wonderful Lotus, helped greatly in vintage competition by the Hewland gearbox. Good history, competitive in vintage events. Bought for a reasonable price both for its history and its preparation. This low $100K area seems to be the prevailling level for 50s GP cars without great history or Tridents Cavallinos on their noses.
