Condition
#1 Concours
World-class. Could compete in the world’s best Concours d'Elegance events.
Excellent black paint and body. Brightwork has negligible age. The engine and underbody have been immaculately restored. The interior has no wear. AACA Junior award. Restored in 1994 and regularly shown, but restored again 10 miles ago and in fantastic shape. A proven show car with numerous awards from the 1990s on. Its best days are behind it, but it is nowhere near too aged to keep showing.
Market commentary
Serious money for a serious car, although it could have brought more without being expensive. It was sold at Mecum's Arlington (Chicago) auction in 1998 in older restored but still very good condition for $85,100.
