Equipment
Built by Virgil Exner, Jr., son of Chryslers designer, as a Masters Degree project in 1957. Looks like a prototype for Speed Racers Mach I. Simca based (Chrysler must have a few of those lying around in 57.) Displayed at the Paris Show in 1959. Very Fifties, but of no design history significance at all. Tired older restoration, fiberglass crazing and cracking on hood. Fair old paint, interior and trim. Friday F182.
Market commentary
This is going to be a very hard sell. It means nothing in the history of automotive design and is based on a boring chassis. The condition is aged. It could have been sold without regret at the reported high bid.
