Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

392 375hp, dual 4bbl Hemi, AM radio, wide white walls. Chrome beginning to fade. New top and forged hardened steel crankshaft. Paint and interior very nice. Formerly owned by Robert Horton, famed Scout on Wagon Train. 1 of 479 made.

Market commentary

Wagon Train A very respectable car bought for serious but not unreasonable money here at the eastern foot of the Sierras where they still probably run Wagon Train on late night cable. A 300C convertible is one of the best and most luxurious of the early muscle cars, a milestone even if it isnt capitalized.
