Equipment
Fin, metal passenger seat tonneau, polished alloy Dunlop knockoff wheels. George Constantines 1956 Watkins Glen winner, otherwise undistinguished racing history. Continuous ownership history including 20 years with the seller. Thoroughly and sympathetically restored, shows some careful use since but eminently presentable and track ready. Hood (bonnet) replaced but origil available for the cost of shipping from Oz.
Market commentary
A million bucks seems to be the going price for a good privateers D type without Le Mans winning history. Their consistent value and ready marketability make them good investments but theyre even better historic racing cars.
