One of about 22 alloy body low roof Boanos known to have been built. First owned by Jan de Vroom and raced in the US by him and Elliot Forbes Robinson. Restored in the late 1980s. Ferrari Classiche certification not completed yet.
Market commentary
Reported sold by Brooks at Gstaad in 1999 for $173,212 (SFr 273,000) in essentially the same condition it is in today except for the patina. It was declared for sale at Euros 330,000, with the hammer falling at Euros 365,000. An exceptionally versatile automobile, it will be at home on the show field or at any race circuit or long distance tour event, and is well bought at this price.
