Vehicle details

Notes and observations recorded by Hagerty staff.

Equipment

RHD. 1097cc Coventry Climax FWA engine, two SU carbs, MG TC 4 speed, Alfin drum brakes, silver wire wheels, full width windscreen, braced rollbar. Blistered paint and some cracks visible under paint but overall a pretty and well maintained historic racer that is probably track ready. May have been originally Maserati 6C powered which would make it scary fast. No Reserve.

Market commentary

This is a terrific value. People pay this much and more for race prepared production cars while this is a correctly configured and conscientiously prepared sports racer from an early era. It will be very well received in any historic event, both circuit and open road. The buyer should be extremely satisfied with this purchase.
