Equipment
White 8 spoke alloy wheels, 1.5 liter Coventry Climax, rebuilt gearbox with new gears and updated linkage, limited slip differential. Excellent paintwork, clean and professiolly maintained. Two races on rebuilt engine. Origilly raced by Bill Boye in the US. Comes with FIA papers which are written for a 1.1 liter Climax and its origil chassis frame ... in fact, after lying derelict in Central Florida for nearly 20 years the origil parts on this Cooper are probably few and far between. It is, however, built to a high standard and ready to race.
Market commentary
An exciting, unusual and potentially competitive Type 39 with central drivers seat, bought for a reasoble price considering the time, effort and money that went into resuscitating its derelict remains.
