Equipment

Continental kit, chrome skirts and fender trim, wheel covers, wide whitewalls, automatic, pushbutton radio, P S, P B, P top. Restored to like new condition with excellent paint, interior and chrome and without going overboard. A very nice Poncho. No Reserve.

Market commentary

Considering that a 55 Chevy Bel Air convertible in this condition would be $65,000 or more the buyer got the power and rarity of a Pontiac for a price that is appropriate to the market but inherently reasoble. Another $10,000 would not be at all unreasoble for this Star Chief.
