Equipment
Restored to like new condition. The subject of a lengthy saleroom notice read from the podium by Dermot Chichester amplifying its chassis number and history, along with a disclaimer from M B concerning its status as the 1952 factory prototype S N 0009 52 and clarification that it did not come to the US with the two Paul OShea SLSs.
Market commentary
The dissertation on the chassis number made short work of auctioning this car as bidders astutely sat on their bidder cards rather than risk a million bucks on a controversy. Too bad, because the car is pretty neat, with lots of nifty features.
