Chrome spoke Borrani wire wheels, 185S16 Pirelli blackwalls, Marchal headlights and fog lights. Chassis and underbody sprayed with undercoat. Good paint, chrome and interior. Scuffed window trim. Alloy body, later modified by Boano withough the fender top break behind the doors and cleaner headlight joing to conform to later designs. Restored in 1986 by Lyle Tanner and little messed with since.
Market commentary
A significant early Boano bodied 250 GT with alloy coachwork that is a highlight in this series which enjoys a resurgence of interest among collectors. The decision not to accept a three quarter million dollar offer might be questioned, however assuming of course there was more than one bidder responding to Charlie Rosss exhortations.
