Equipment
331/250hp Fire Power Hemi, automatic, chrome wire wheels, Coker Classic whitewalls, AM radio, power windows, power steering, power brakes, black vinyl boot cover.
Condition
The paint has a few small scratches on both the left and right front fenders as well as the trunk. Bumpers have been rechromed and the windshield trim has small scratches. The interior has been restored and looks very good. There is no wear on the seats nor the carpeting. The engine is correct and dry. Underbody is clean with little wear. Some signs of early oxidation on the rear of the frame. A recent, mostly cosmetic restoration making for a better than average driver and with early Hemi power under the hood.
Market commentary
Reported bid to $65,000 at Mecum's Chicago auction last October. Apparently the '55 Chrysler market is in Chicago. It clearly wasn't in Auburn and it can reasonably be deduced there was no real interest in this car.
