Market commentary
Consignment 4127. An important car in the lineage of the AC Ace, Aceca and Bristols leading to the Cobra. Sold by RM in Arizona in 2011 for $143,000, then by RM in Monterey last August for $154,000. This result is consistent with the earlier sales, but begs the question why it has been an unsatisfying ownership experience twice in the last two years The answer is probably in the 1,467cc MG powerplants diminutive power, a handicap that keeps it from keeping up even on the many events for which it is eligible. It looks so cool, but it isnt fast. Experience demonstrates that this is what its worth.
