Equipment
RHD. 1991cc 80hp B21 engine, rear wheel drive with transaxle. One of 98 B52s built, all bodied by various coachbuilders. One of three produced by Ghia while Mario Boano was head designer, labeled b junior and attributed to Marios son Paolo. Looks like a concept for a sh Metropolitan with partially shrouded tires set deep in the fenderwells and a grille which bears no relationship at all to a Lancia. Restored in the UK in the mid 90s and holding up fairly well. Thin, shadowed bumper rechrome covered up with chrome tape, fair old repaint, chassis clean and nearly like new, scuffed whitewalls. A neat car but needs some attention.
Market commentary
This is a car of no stylistic significance at all with a mediocre restoration on a pretty prosaic chassis. Its cool, its rare and its different but that doesnt make it valuable. The seller should be still be celebrating and lighting candles of thanksgiving for getting this much.
