2 litre Alta chassis with two stage supercharged 1 1 2 litre Alta engine. Long racing history in Australia since 1956. Owned by tye York Motor Museum since 1981 and extensively rebuilt, refurbished, developed and restored there with limited use in the past 10 years. Good cosmetics, neat and tidy presentation, needs little or nothing to be race ready.
Market commentary
This is a car with great Australian history and no small amount of international racing significance. It is eligible for an array of important historic events and brought a modest price if only for that eligibility, despite the estimate.
