Equipment
Lefthand drive, body color wire wheels, whitewalls, Lucas driving lights with Sylvania halogen bulbs, fender minors. 1981 AACA National First Prize. Sound but shrinking paint, good old interior, top and chrome, good interior wood trim. Paint blisters on right hood. Chrome flaked off on landau bar knobs. Sound body, doors dont drop. Sound, usable and presentable but nothing special.
Market commentary
The restoration is long past its prime, but in no danger of falling apart. The body, and particularly the suicide doors, is impressively sound. It isnt going to meet itself coming round the corner any time soon, not even at a major British car meet. The new owner can take his (or her) time attending to the cosmetics and have a very functional, enjoyable, unusual British drophead to drive, tour and cruise in the meantime. It is a good value at this price which is no more than a comparable condition MG TC would bring, and this is a lot more car.
